I Know I Said I Would Blog But...

I know that I said I would blog about my life but... my life kinda got in the way. I have had 2 parades, two ID recitals (and, ironically 2 feisannas) and a lot of other things going on. To start:
I had a parade in Auburn in November. We played Freedom City and marched. I had a 4th of July parade in Burien and we played Colonel Boogey.
I had two recitals- one Christmas one and one summer one where we got pictures taken. I placed in both of my feisannas and moved one dance up to novice.
I would have made it to another parade, but, I had History day. History Day is a day like a science fair- but with history, not science/math.
I finished my freshman year of high school.
I sewed Halloween Costumes and then made a doll dress for my sister's friend. They both turned out great. I am now back hooked on sewing.
I have also been doing some housework for my parents.
We went on an awesome vacation to Cape Cod.
I won a scholarship thru Knights of Colombus.
I started Summer Band.
I got a sunburn.
I counted the days until my birthday (46!- Then I'm 15!)
I began to grow out my hair.
And I did a lot more...

My Thankgiving Weekend

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving, however, Lita and I have had too much together time. She and I had a fun time at the Harry Potter movie- we went to it yesterday afternoon with dad. She didn't like Harry Potter in the movie theater, as she spent a lot of time hiding her face into my dad's shoulder. She is now obsessed with a red dress like Hermione wore in the movie. She wants to wear it in Massachusetts when we go this year. I don't know what she'd wear it for, though while we are in Massachusetts. Maybe she'll wear it for free dress at her school- oh, wait, it goes against the school's free dress dress code. I wonder when she can wear it before next Halloween! The dress is totally cute and everything, but I'm worried that it won't fit her. It is 35" long from shoulder to hem, and 35" from her shoulder is the middle of her calf. It's supposed to only go down maybe a 1/4 of one's calf, and so you can probably see my point by now.
